Apple users, good news! You can now exchange your outdated iPhones for the newest model.
Beginning next week in the US and Canada, Apple is allegedly going to start offering a little bit more than usual for some iPhone trade-ins, according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, as reported by Engadget.
Apple has not responded to Gurman’s assertion that the offer will only be available in-store to customers who use the credit toward any model in the iPhone 15 lineup, which includes the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
This is reportedly scheduled to take effect on Monday, May 20, and run through June 3.
Other models in Apple’s smartphone portfolio, including the iPhone 14, iPhone 13, and iPhone SE (4th generation), are not eligible for this promotion, according to rumors.
Gurman simply stated that old iPhones will increase in value starting on Monday, May 20, in his social media post; he made no mention of the new values of old iPhones under its trade-in program.
Consumers can take advantage of the trade-in deal in person at an Apple store or online at the company’s official website. The credit can be loaded on an Apple gift card for future use or used to the cost of a new Apple product.
