According to a senior US official, Israel has addressed many of President Joe Biden’s worries over the ongoing ground assault on Rafah.
“I believe the Israelis have revised their intentions, it’s fair to say. Many of the concerns that we raised have been taken into account,” the official stated, requesting to remain anonymous.
He went on to say that after White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan’s visit to Israel, the Israeli attack strategy for Rafah was updated.
What modifications Israel has made to its Rafah plan is unknown, though.
