Kathy Griffin feels betrayed by Andy Cohen and Bravo over dropped ‘D-List’ sequel

After her 2017 Trump photo incident, Kathy Griffin revealed that she felt “thrown away like a piece of trash” and voiced disappointment about her difficult connection with Andy Cohen and Bravo. During her current “My Life on the PTSD-List” comedy tour, Griffin, 63, spoke with Entertainment Weekly about how the incident’s aftermath caused her to lose contact with erstwhile friends Cohen and Anderson Cooper, who she alleges abandoned her during her trying period. Griffin said she hasn’t heard “no apologies” from her former pals or business associates.

The Emmy-winning comic also said that, in spite of her delight in the program, Bravo turned down her proposals for a spinoff of her hit documentary series My Life on the D-List. “It hurts that they never let me do a spinoff,” she thought to herself. Their unwillingness to create a D-List 2.0 stings.” Griffin’s assertions regarding Bravo’s scripting attempts and other specifics, according to an insider source who spoke with EW, are untrue. Andy Cohen has already addressed these concerns and wishes Griffin the best of luck.

In response to Griffin’s criticism, Cohen had earlier told Howard Stern that he “gets” why Griffin could be upset with him because he replaced her as co-host of CNN’s New Year’s Eve program.
