According to a post by Senator Faisal Vawda on X (previously known as Twitter), Pakistan is set for a major positive development in September, thanks to the efforts of Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and the vision of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).”Recent justice-focused decisions by the Army Chief have paved the way for the country’s advancement,” the Senator continued.
He said that “The current trajectory suggests that Pakistan’s progress is now unstoppable, a feat that could have been achieved earlier if democratic leaders and constitutional authorities had acted similarly.”
In order to expedite investment efforts, the Pakistani government launched the SIFC in June of last year.
The SIFC, which is chaired by the prime minister and consists of the army chief, provincial leaders, and federal ministers, intends to expedite project development, improve interdepartmental coordination, and simplify investment procedures.
