almost the past year, the combined wealth of Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty has increased by almost £120 million, surpassing that of King Charles.
According to the Mirror, both Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty have surpassed King Charles’s riches, as their combined worth has increased from £529 million to £651 million in the past year.
The majority of the couple’s wealth comes from Murty’s ownership of Infosys, an Indian IT business that her father started. The family is the wealthiest No. 10 tenants in recorded history.
Over the past year, the value of Infosys shares has increased by £108.8 million to almost £590 million.
King Charles’s wealth increased during the year, according to the Sunday Times Rich List 2024, which ranks the wealthiest individuals in Britain, going up from £600 million to £610 million.
Euan Blair, Tony Blair’s eldest son, debuted on the list as a new addition, placing 337th.
According to the ranking, there were fewer British billionaires than there had been in 2023. The number of billionaires peaked at 177 in 2022, fell to 171 the following year, and then fell once more to 165 this year, largely due to some seeing their personal fortune decline due to high borrowing rates and others fleeing the nation.
