The fortune of Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty has surpassed that of King Charles, and a comprehensive list of the top billionaires in the UK has also been made public.

According to the most recent list, Sunak and Murty have around £651 million in wealth, up from £529 million in 2023.
In earlier studies, the people overwhelmingly described Rishi Sunak as “rich,” and the most recent data reflects this sentiment of the prime minister’s wealth.
“This year’s Sunday Times rich list suggests Britain’s billionaire boom has come to an end,” said list compiler Robert Watts. Some of the international super-rich who came here are leaving, and many of our native business owners have seen their fortunes decline.

The report shows that the 350 richest people in Britain have a total worth of £795.36 billion. Once again, Gopi Hinduja and his family are at the top of this year’s list. The Indian conglomerate Hinduja Group is under his and his family’s control. From £35 billion, their wealth increased to £37.2 billion.
In addition, during the year, when many firms and investments were facing difficulties, the wealth of several of the most well-known billionaires in the UK declined. For this year, this also applies to Jim Ratcliffe, James Dyson, and Richard Branson.
