Will Smith helped his co-star Vanessa Hudgens manage her pregnancy while filming.
The 55-year-old actor remembers collaborating with the soon-to-be mother on the fourth installment of the wildly popular Bad Boys film series.
The Men in Black actor told Entertainment Tonight, “So, the strike happened [and] when she came back and we had to finish the movie, it was really [about] trying to figure out how to shoot around [the bump].”
Hudgens, 35, made her feature debut in 2020’s Bad Boys for Life and later made a comeback as weapons specialist Kelly.
Smith continued, calling the former cast member of High School Musical a “hard worker” and sharing his words of support with her, particularly when doing stunts proved to be difficult for her.
“I said, ‘No, that’s okay. Smith remarked, “You’ll be able to tell your kids that they were in this moment with you forever.
Hudgens, who wed baseball player Cole Tucker in December 2023, is expecting her first child together.
The movie Bad Boys: Ride or Die is scheduled to open in theaters on June 7.
